Where did RAD Polewear come from?
RAD Polewear comes from Greece, with its headquarters located in Marousi. The company was founded in 2009 by Amalia Roussou, who had discovered her passion for pole dancing shortly before. Evridiki Valavani followed shortly after. A few years later, on a balmy summer night, the idea of founding their own brand of pole dance wear was born and in 2013 the time had come. RAD Polewear started advertising with a Facebook page, a few prototypes of pole dance clothing and a video. At that time, the brand was one of the first companies to offer functional clothing for pole dancing and the pole sport, and today they are one of the trendsetters. The clothes are suitable for pole dancing, pole sports, aerial sports, booty twerking, yoga, aerial yoga and many other sports (gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics).
RAD Polewear works with 3 production companies, two of which are based in Greece and family run. They are also committed to family-friendly and fair labour practices, supporting women in their career paths and allowing pets in the office.

What does RAD Polewear offer?
Wearing great pole dance shorts, pole dance outfits and clothing while doing good is what RAD Polewear allows you to do. Since 2019, they have been using materials made from recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets. This approach was implemented in collaboration with ECONYL. In doing so, the materials from ECONYL offer the same stretch and comfort as commercially available yarns and materials.
